Senior Integrated Marketing Manager, Fish/Hunt
We are seeking a SENIOR INTEGRATED MARKETING MANAGER, FISH/HUNT to join the Orvis Team! This is a remote position.
The Senior Integrated Marketing Manager – Fish/Hunt is a critical member of the Orvis brand experience (BX) team and the primary partner to the Fish/Hunt GM. In tight partnership, these two leaders drive the vision and success of the Fish and Hunt business units.
The Senior Integrated Marketing Manager – Fish/Hunt leads the overarching marketing vision for the fish and hunt business units, as well as the annual and seasonal strategic fish and hunt omni channel marketing planning and execution that drives profitability, growth and creates the most inspiring, engaging customer experience across our brand ecosystem. Key responsibilities include partnering with the Fish/Hunt GM to set clear goals/KPIs for each business unit, building the seasonal marketing strategies, and leading the omni channel BX team in pre-season marketing planning and in season execution + data-driven commercial plan optimizations to deliver against the goals/KPIs for each business unit.

- Creates and owns strategic partnership between product and BX functions
- Creates visibility, accountability and clarity across cross-functional marketing and creative leadership
- Enables through-line from strategy to execution, including in-season actions

Position Interfaces:
The Senior Integrated Marketing Manager – Fish/Hunt will report directly to the VP of Integrated Marketing, Brand Amplification and Impact. This position will partner closely with the Fish/Hunt GM, the omni channel marketing and creative teams, the e-commerce, retail and wholesale leads as well as critical commercial planning, analytics, finance, product design and inventory planning teams.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Fish/Hunt GM to set a clear vision and target goals/KPIs for our Fish and Hunt business units; meet with Fish/Hunt GM regularly to stay connected on pre-season planning as well as in season business optimizations to deliver data-driven results
- Lead the overarching fish and hunt marketing strategies to continue to differentiate our brand pov against competitors, drive against our profitability and growth goals and create an emotionally powerful, long-term relationship with our existing and new customers
- Strategize, develop and execute holistic fish and hunt marketing strategies to drive awareness, new customer acquisition and high conversion resulting in accelerated business unit growth
- Lead the omni channel BX team in pre-season marketing strategy + planning and in season execution + commercial plan optimizations for each business unit. This includes optimizing our omni channel marketing plans pre-season, creating a strong throughline from strategy to execution and identifying (in partnership with the team) key business opportunities/challenges in season with clear recommendations on how to address
- Partner closely with Commercial Planning and Business Analytics team to constantly assess fish and hunt businesses and customer performance. Utilize data-driven insights to measure and analyze the effectiveness of in-season omni channel marketing campaigns, optimize commercial planning and inform pre-season strategic planning
- Lead weekly omni channel fish and hunt marketing team meetings
- Empower and inspire the cross-functional BX omni channel marketing team to drive toward the stated goals/KPIs, including failing fast and innovating along the way
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to identify partnership and process efficiencies, and constantly drive for improvement in how we can lead cross-functional teams more effectively
- Create best in class business unit GM + integrated marketing function at Orvis (new organizational structure for Orvis)
Competencies and Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience with Integrated Omni Channel Marketing, Outdoor or Retail industry preferred
- 4+ years experience leading high performing cross-functional teams
- Experience scaling emerging, high growth global brands
- Experience using data to inform strategy and execution – savvy with analyzing, interpreting and reporting data to inform clear, actionable conclusions
- Fishing and/or hunting industry experience and knowledge preferred
- Strategic thinker, strong storyteller and business driver with the ability to deliver against clear goals/KPIs and put the customer at the center of everything
- Team player who builds strong and effective partnerships, and appreciates learning from and teaching others
- Thrives in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment without losing sight of the customer experience
- Ability to maneuver through the organization effectively, building trusting and effective relationships
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing and persuading a diverse audience and distilling complex marketing strategies into a clear vision and story for visibility across the organization
