Marketing & Service Cloud Developer
We are seeking a MARKETING AND SERVICE CLOUD DEVELOPER to join the Orvis Team! This is a remote position, with preference to those candidates living in the Eastern Standard Time zone.
As a Marketing and Service Cloud Developer, you will specialize in designing, implementing, and optimizing marketing technology solutions within a cloud-based environment. You will create and manage complex marketing automation workflows, integrating various data sources to enhance customer engagement, and develop custom applications and features to meet specific business needs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Service Cloud, with a solid understanding of customer engagement, automation, and service management technologies. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about utilizing Salesforce's powerful platform to drive customer experience, deliver innovative marketing solutions, and enhance service operations.

Position Interfaces:
This position reports to the Solution Architect, and has no direct reports.
Responsibilities:
- Campaign Development & Automation – Responsible for creating automated journeys through Journey Builder and Automation Studio
- Data Management & Analytics – responsible for creating the required data extensions and data mappings to support the business information needs. Responsible for creating dashboards and reports to communicate campaign effectiveness based on the required business needs.
- API Integrations – Responsible for creating and maintaining API integrations to other Orvis systems including Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, and the data warehouse
- Maintenance – Responsible for support and maintenance of our Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment, including integrations to 3rd party vendor systems
- Responsible for implementing Service Cloud flows to support Orvis’ CRM data and information needs
- Responsible for implementing extensions to Service Cloud’s data model to support Orvis’ CRM business requirements
- Build, maintain, and extend Service Cloud integrations to Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and Snowflake
Competencies and Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in the following technologies: HTML, CSS, AMPscipt, Lightening Web Components
- Experience integrating 3rd party applications for Marketing Cloud via the App Exchange
- 4+ years experience in Automation Studio
- Experience using GitHub for code management
- Experience working with the Agile methodology and in a cross-team collaboration model
- Strong proficiency (3+ years experience) in the following technologies: APEX, Java, Javascript, SOQL, Lightening Web Components, and Flow
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud preferred
- Strong problem solving skills
- Self Starter that can work independently as well as in the context of a team to implement complex business capabilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Service Cloud Admin certification required
- Marketing Cloud Admin certification preferred
- Service Cloud Developer certification preferred
